Dallas, A-Team and Dynasty ruled T.V. airwaves. Thriller spent 37 weeks on the top 40 countdown. Tom Cruise made himself a household name with the hit film, “Risky Business” Eddie Murphy burst onto the big screen with “Trading Places” while Jennifer Beals brought the fashion trend of ripped-clothing into the mainstream via “Flashdance”. And in San Leandro, California, Mark S. Mastrov bought his first 24 Hour Fitness with a loan from his grandmother.

That was 20 years ago. Since then, we’ve built an entire fitness company on the belief of making a world where fitness is a way of life. I am thrilled to celebrate our 20th anniversary with you during the 8th Annual 24 Hour Fitness Convention to be held in San Diego, California.

As we commemorate our history and look together at our future, we need to focus our attention on being a champion sales and marketing company with great operations support. Our agenda is packed with dynamic presentations and demonstrations on how to improve sales, operations and customer service, all in an effort to make us the best. We’re also bringing you amazing speakers and hosting panel discussions to get you excited and prepared to live our brand.

The convention will take place at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. Your hotel and airline reservation have been arranged for you.

At this year’s convention, we have invited General Managers to Senior Executives. We want to take this opportunity to remind you that even though you will not be at “work” while in San Diego, this is an event that is sponsored by the Company and everyone you meet will view you as a representative of 24 Hour Fitness.
